In reply to <a href="https://www.myfavouritelens.com/fujicolor-industrial-400-35mm-film-review/#comment-23644">Dennis</a>.

Hey Dennis. Thanks for the kind words re. my reviews mate, it's really nice to read. :)

Thanks for the offer. I've shot a few rolls of <a href="https://www.myfavouritelens.com/tag/fujicolor-superia-x-tra-400/" target="_blank" rel="ugc">Superia X-TRA 400</a> myself and really liked it, but haven't got around to writing the review yet. Unfortunately it seems that film has been discontinued now too though, along with this Industrial 400.

I truly appreciate the offer but I'm not really one for doing film comparisons. I'm just sad Fuji have stopped producing all these great films. Losing the ISO 400 colour ones is especially a shame.

Keep shooting what you can though mate. :)

Hi! I chanced upon your blog, and I'd like to say that I love your reviews, balancing both technical depth and summaries of your findings based on your own experience. I especially like the balanced views with little to no superlatives, which just adds (in my mind anyway) to the credibility of your reviews. I see that Fujifilm still has that cool tint I remembered them for, as opposed to the AGFAs which tended to be distinctly bronze-hued.

I've just started returning to the world of film cameras after having grown up with and around them in the 80s (I guess it's that age where nostalgia kicks in). To that end, I settled on 2 film products to try out, and as it happens 1 of them is a Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400. They're not too difficult to find here in South-East Asia. Would you like some to compare against the Industrial 400 to test for yourself if they are - or most likely are - the same thing? It would also be cool to have it reviewed by a pro who's able to compare with a myriad of other brands you've used in the past (in particular, how does it compare with a Kodak Gold 200?) :)

Cheers for reading and commenting Orrin. Good timing with that purchase. I like the 100 as well. Hope that doesn't get axed any time soon.

I bought a brick of this film before the announcement of its end. I've been slowly working through that and I think I have 3 rolls remaining. I enjoyed this film for the budget.
Also, I have a brick of 100 that is waiting to be used.
